RUDRA 1.1.0
More Than Just a Language. A Platform for the Future.
RUDRA is a compiled, statically typed systems language whose compiler is written in RUDRA itself. Write a source file, compile it straight to a native x86-64 Linux executable, and ship. Clean syntax, compile-time type checking, and runtime safety checks.
Capabilities
Built for systems work
A focused language surface, verified against the shipped toolchain.
Native compilation
Compile a .rux file straight to a native Linux x86-64 executable. The compiler is a static ELF written in RUDRA: no C compiler, assembler or linker needed.
Memory-safety oriented
Statically typed with compile-time checking, bounds-checked list access and a trap on integer division by zero.
Channels and processes
Standard-library modules for FIFO channels (chan) and fork-based processes (thread).
Structs and enums
Model data with structs and tagged enums, with exhaustiveness-checked pattern matching.
Networking and JSON
Socket, HTTP-helper, DNS (IPv4) and JSON modules in the standard library. Authenticated HTTPS is not available yet.
Honest status
Every capability is labeled verified, partially verified or planned, with published evidence.
Ecosystem
One language, a modular ecosystem
Each component is presented independently with an accurate status.
